This is a really nice color pencil project that will expand your color pencil skills by learning how to color pencil on fabric. We will be coloring the design on a fabric covered mouse pad that you can use for your computer mouse. The fabric will be attached with Heat - N-Bond and the pattern traced on for you. A list of color pencils for the project is listed below. If you do not have the colors needed for this project, please let Melissa Fox know by August 30th so that she can order what you need. Supplies Needed: Basic acrylic painting supplies, white or light-colored graphite paper, tracing paper, water basin, paper towels, stylus, alcohol hand sanitizer (to clean brushes while dry brushing), palette (wet or dry, dry may work better since we will be dry brushing). Optional: heat gun or blow dryer
Brushes: large & medium stipple brushes (deer foot or scruffy brushes will work) assorted size filberts for dry brushing (suggest a 4, 6 & 8), liner and 1/4" angle brush

Hopefully it will be a fun time for all of us. There will be a short Board Meeting before the party. Our theme this year is: The 12 Days of Christmas. Several of us have been working on table centerpieces that will be given away as a special door prize. There are 12 centerpieces in all! Good chances for all of us to win one. We have 3 Christmas games to play. Short and simple but we have prizes for the winners! A reminder also that there is an ornament exchange if you wish to participate. Just bring an ornament when you come. We will number them and draw for them. As always - we will have special door prizes to give away - so you definitely want to be there for that. Our catering this year is being done by Larry Lyon again. He always does a great job for us. The Menu this year: Parmesan Crusted Chicken, Rice Pilaf, Green Beans, Rolls, Salad and Peach Cobbler for dessert. As a thank you to Larry we have a special gift to present to him at the party. (It is a painted chef apron) After all this fun - we get to eat!!! So - Please sign up and come. You will enjoy good food and good friends.
